About MyEnergi
MyEnergi is a UK brand known for smart home energy products that work together in one app. Their ecosystem covers EV charging, hot-water diversion and battery storage, giving you control over how and when your home uses energy. Everything is designed to make better use of solar, off-peak tariffs and surplus generation.
The MyEnergi ecosystem
EV charging
Zappi chargers work as normal fast chargers but can also make use of solar or off-peak tariffs. You choose whether to prioritise green charging, cheap charging or simple fast charging. Three-phase options are available for larger homes and small commercial sites.
Hot-water and load diversion
Eddi units take surplus solar and route it into hot-water tanks or other resistive loads instead of sending it back to the grid. They react quickly to changing generation, which helps squeeze value from small or variable PV systems.Battery storage
Libbi batteries store solar, make use of cheap night rates and can grow over time with modular 5kWh blocks. The system can be installed alongside existing solar or as part of a new setup. Backup capability is available for key circuits where needed. Why MyEnergi works well for local homes
MyEnergi’s approach suits real properties in Norfolk and Suffolk. Zappi can prioritise cheap-rate charging on popular tariffs, eddi makes use of smaller or inconsistent solar output, and libbi offers a practical way to add storage without replacing an existing inverter. For rural areas, the option for battery backup adds resilience during outages.

Frequently asked questions...
If you’re planning a MyEnergi installation in Norwich, Norfolk or Suffolk, contact Redhill Services for a clear, no-pressure quotation.
Can I charge my EV from solar panels with a zappi charger?
Yes. Zappi can use surplus solar for EV charging, switch to the grid when needed or follow off-peak tariffs depending on the mode you choose.
Do I need solar panels for zappi to work?
No. Zappi works as a standard fast charger even without solar. If you add panels later, we can set up the renewable features at that point.
Can libbi be added to an existing solar system?
Often yes. Libbi can work AC or DC coupled, so it can fit many older systems without major changes. We’ll check your inverter and supply first.
What’s the difference between zappi and zappi GLO?
Zappi GLO is a slimmer, screen-free version that uses the app for control. Both support solar charging and off-peak scheduling.
Do eddi units work with small solar arrays?
Yes. Eddi responds to low surplus levels, so even modest arrays can feed useful heat into hot-water tanks rather than exporting small trickles.
Can you install MyEnergi products on three-phase supplies?
Yes. Zappi multiphase and eddi+ are designed for three-phase properties. We’ll size the system correctly for your supply.
Can MyEnergi products work with older inverters?
In many cases, yes. We will check your existing equipment and advise how zappi, eddi or libbi can be integrated safely and effectively.
