The Fox ESS ecosystem
Hybrid inverters
Fox ESS hybrid inverters cover both single-phase and three-phase supplies. Models in the H1-G2, KH and KA series suit typical domestic installs, while H3 and H3 PRO units support larger homes and commercial premises. Multiple MPPTs help manage complex roof layouts, and hybrid design allows batteries to be added from day one or later.
Battery storage
Fox ESS offer modular high-voltage batteries, including EP and EQ stacks, along with all-in-one systems such as the S22, PowerQube and EVO. These solutions range from compact units to large systems above 20 kWh. Many include integrated battery warming and support backup or off-grid operation when paired with suitable hardware.
Microinverters
The M-Series microinverters are ideal for small arrays, outbuildings or roofs with awkward layouts. They allow groups of panels to operate independently, improving performance where shading or mixed orientations limit standard string systems.
EV charging
Fox ESS A-Series and L-Series chargers cover 7.3, 11 and 22 kW outputs with tethered or socketed options. They support solar-aware charging, scheduled charging and dynamic load balancing. They can run as stand-alone chargers or integrate with Fox ESS solar and battery equipment.
Why Fox ESS suits local properties
p>Fox ESS hybrid inverters work well with the single-phase supplies found in many Norfolk and Suffolk homes, while their H3 and H3 PRO units support larger rural and three-phase properties. Their high-voltage batteries and all-in-one units manage cold conditions and can be installed in garages, outbuildings or on external walls. With solar-linked EV chargers available, the brand offers a practical full-system option for homes moving toward smarter energy use.

Why choose Redhill Services?
Redhill design Fox ESS systems around your property rather than relying on preset kits. We assess roof layouts, supply limits and usage patterns, then match the right mix of hybrid inverters, batteries, microinverters or all-in-one units. Where staged upgrades make sense, we plan a path that fits your budget and expectations.
After installation, we remain available for checks, firmware updates and fault finding. You deal with a local team who understand the equipment and the area.
Areas we cover
We install Fox ESS systems across Norwich, Broadland villages, Acle and the Broads, Wroxham, Great Yarmouth, Wymondham, North Norfolk towns and nearby parts of Suffolk.
Frequently asked questions...
If you’re planning a Fox ESS installation in Norwich, Norfolk or Suffolk, contact Redhill Services to arrange a survey and a clear, no-pressure quotation.
Can I add Fox ESS batteries to an existing solar system?
Often yes. We can review your current array and inverter and confirm whether Fox ESS batteries can be integrated directly or whether a hybrid inverter upgrade is required.
What’s the difference between hybrid inverters and all-in-one systems?
Hybrid inverters pair with external battery stacks, while all-in-one units combine inverter and batteries in a single cabinet. All-in-one systems are tidier and faster to install, while hybrids allow more flexible placement.
Do Fox ESS batteries work in cold garages or outside?
Many Fox ESS batteries include integrated warming to maintain performance in low temperatures. Several models can be installed in garages or on external walls, subject to a site assessment.
Can Fox ESS systems run during a power cut?
Fox ESS systems can provide backup power when paired with the correct hardware. We will check your supply and advise how backup can be safely set up for selected circuits.
Should I choose microinverters or a hybrid inverter?
Microinverters suit small arrays and tricky layouts, while hybrid inverters fit standard domestic systems and support larger battery setups. We can explain the options after a survey.
Do Fox ESS EV chargers need a full Fox solar system?
No. They work as stand-alone chargers but can integrate with Fox solar and battery systems for solar-aware and smart charging features.
Can Fox ESS support three-phase properties?
Yes. Fox ESS offer three-phase hybrid inverters and large battery units suitable for bigger homes and business premises.
Can I expand my system later?
Yes. Fox ESS batteries are modular, and all-in-one units can often be expanded. We can plan staged upgrades if you want to grow the system over time.
