The Fox ESS A Series EV Charger (Shutter Version) delivers the same high-end performance and smart features as the open-socket model, with one key upgrade — a built-in safety shutter. This makes it ideal for households, housing developments, commercial premises, or anywhere added contact protection is required. Rated at 7.3kW, 11kW or 22kW, and fully OCPP-compliant, this model supports timed charging, solar integration and remote app control.
This shuttered version meets both IP55 and IK08 protection standards. At just 2.5kg, it’s lightweight but durable. The internal shutter adds another layer of electrical safety by covering the socket terminals when not in use — especially important for outdoor or family environments. Built-in RCD-DD is included; RCCB (Type A or B) must be installed externally.
The A Series app allows users to bind the charger to their phone, schedule charging sessions, monitor usage, update firmware, and configure charging behaviour. Installers can provision dynamic load balancing, set operating current, and connect to OCPP platforms via LAN, WiFi or 4G (where available).
