Enphase Installers in Norwich, Norfolk & Suffolk
Redhill Services install Enphase home batteries and smart EV chargers across Norwich, Norfolk and Suffolk. We design systems around your existing electrics and solar so storage and charging work smoothly from day one.
About Enphase
Enphase is a global energy brand known for reliable microinverters, batteries and smart control. Their IQ Battery range and IQ EV chargers are built to be simple to live with, easy to scale and straightforward to retrofit to existing solar systems.
Enphase in your home
Home battery storage
The Enphase IQ Battery 5P is an AC-coupled 5 kWh unit that sits on the wall and stores solar or off-peak grid power. Multiple units can be linked together if you need more capacity. Because it is AC-coupled, it can often be added to older solar systems without replacing the main inverter.
Smart EV charging
The Enphase IQ EV Charger 2 is a 7.4 kW, tethered Type 2 charger for single-phase supplies. It can work on its own or as part of a wider Enphase setup, taking account of solar output, battery status and off-peak tariffs to keep running costs under control.
Why Enphase suits local homes
Many homes in Norfolk and Suffolk already have solar or are thinking about it. The IQ Battery 5P is compact, modular and well suited to typical UK semis and detached houses. AC coupling makes it a strong option for retrofits, while the Enphase IQ EV Charger 2 gives a clear upgrade path for drivers on EV tariffs who want to make better use of daytime generation.
Working with existing solar
Enphase equipment is designed to sit alongside solar systems using the Enphase app for monitoring and control. For homes that already have panels, adding an IQ Battery and an IQ EV charger is a practical way to move towards self-consumption and smarter charging without ripping everything out.

Why choose Redhill Services?
Redhill combine electrical work, solar knowledge and EV charging in one team. We start with a site visit and load check, then size the battery and charger properly for your supply and usage. Where you already have solar or another brand of inverter, we check compatibility and explain your options before any work starts.
After installation, we remain available for checks, settings changes and fault finding. You deal with a local team who know both the hardware and the area.
Areas we cover
We install Enphase batteries and EV chargers across Norwich, the Broadland belt, Acle and the Broads, Wroxham, Hoveton, Coltishall, Great Yarmouth, Gorleston, Wymondham, Hethersett, Mulbarton, North Walsham, Stalham, Beccles, Bungay and nearby Suffolk villages.
Frequently asked questions...
If you are considering an Enphase IQ Battery 5P, an IQ EV Charger 2 or both in Norwich, Norfolk or Suffolk, contact Redhill Services to arrange a survey and clear, no-pressure quotation.
Can I add an Enphase IQ Battery 5P to my existing solar system?
In many cases, yes. The IQ Battery 5P is AC-coupled, so it can often be fitted alongside an existing inverter. We will check your current system first and confirm what is possible.
How much backup can an IQ Battery 5P give during a power cut?
That depends on how many battery units you install and which circuits you choose to support. With the right control hardware, Enphase systems can keep selected loads running. We will explain the options at survey stage.
Is the Enphase IQ EV Charger 2 compatible with my EV?
The IQ EV Charger 2 is a Type 2, single-phase charger rated at 7.4 kW, which suits the vast majority of modern EVs and plug-in hybrids sold in the UK.
Do I need Enphase solar gear to use the IQ EV Charger 2?
No. The charger can run as a stand-alone unit on a standard supply. If you have solar or add it later, we can set up the integration features so it works more closely with generation and storage.
Can the charger use surplus solar rather than grid power?
Yes. When installed as part of an Enphase system, the IQ EV Charger 2 can take account of solar output and battery levels, helping you favour self-generated energy where possible.
Can you work with three-phase supplies?
We regularly work on both single-phase and three-phase supplies. We will confirm what the property has during the survey and design the system accordingly.
How many IQ Battery 5P units can I add if my needs change?
You can start with a single 5 kWh unit and expand later by adding more, subject to space, budget and supply limits. We can plan a staged upgrade path if you prefer to grow the system over time.
